He has cooked for celebrities and high-profile guests in a first-class lounge, hosted the Australian Music Awards, and even created the world’s first ‘Peking Cluk Burger’ in collaboration with KFC.Besides sharing his passion for food and culture on some of the world’s biggest stages, Mr Lim’s talents have led to appearances on MasterChef Season 16, Snackmasters Season 2, The Cook Up, The Morning Show, SBS, Amazon Prime, Channel 10 and Channel 7.
Despite his international recognition, Mr Lim said his proudest achievement remains opening his own 200-seat restaurant at just 22 years old, honouring his late father and sparking his lifelong passion for wok cooking.
Deepal Australia general manager Cormac Cafolla said: “Vincent is the perfect embodiment of Deepal’s challenger spirit.
“He’s bold, authentic, and fearless in pursuing his passion – qualities that mirror Deepal’s mission to push boundaries and redefine expectations.
“Just as Vincent has reinvented the way people experience South-East Asian cuisine, Deepal is reinventing the way Australians think about driving and mobility. Together, we will spark conversations, shift perceptions, and connect with a new generation of Australians who want more than just the ordinary.”
As the brand ambassador, Mr Lim will bring his charisma and cultural influence on Deepal’s journey in Australia.
The car-maker said this partnership “represents more than a collaboration – it’s a meeting of two disruptors who are rewriting the rules in their respective industries”.
“Both stand for innovation, creativity, and an unshakable belief in doing things differently, making Vincent the perfect match for Deepal’s bold vision.”
Mr Lim said: “Food and cars might seem different, but for me it’s the same story – culture, creativity, and connection.
“Deepal is challenging convention and bringing something fresh to Australia. I’m excited to share that journey and show what happens when passion and innovation come together.”
